Slip Testing Herefordshire

Home / How it works

How it works, start to finish

No mystery and no faff. Here’s exactly what to expect.

1. You get in touch

Tell us the type of floor, roughly how big the area is and where you are. We send back a fixed price and a date — no vague “starting from” figures.

2. We come and test

One of our testers comes out, sets up on the spot, and checks each floor with the pendulum — wet and dry, using the right rubber for how the floor is used. It’s quick and clean, and you can carry on around us.

3. You get a clear report

Within a couple of working days you’ll have a simple report: a score for each area, whether it’s safe, borderline or not, and what (if anything) we’d suggest doing.

4. We help you put things right

If anything falls short, we’ll talk you through the options — often just a tweak to the cleaning — and come back to re-test so you’ve got proof it’s sorted.

Why wet and dry?

Because dry floors hardly ever cause slips — wet ones do. Testing wet shows what really happens in the conditions that catch people out.
